I loved this stop because I am a garden person. I learned so much about orchids. Truth be known, I never knew there where so many types, colors and sizes.

We made our way down the pathways with the small green lizards scampering by and through greenhouses with streams and fountains that had little tadpoles and fish swimming merrily. As we walked we stopped to enjoy each tropical bloom.

Then up the hill we went to a lookout point with a gazebo that overlooks the garden and acres of cane fields. A place perfect to sit and read a book or watch the sun go down.

Before leaving the gardens, we stopped in at the gift shop and found some lovely souvenirs for all our friends and family back home. This saved us a trip back into Bridgetown.
