Plaza Confetti has a great selection of Mexican crafts – it’s a place that you must visit while here. It’s located right on the main street of town in San Miguel. In these 14 stores with their big selection of merchandise, you will not need to go to another place to find all the gifts necessary to take home (even for your mother-in-law!!!). While shopping, you will feel as if you are in an authentic Mexican town. If you are a cigar fan, please don’t miss the cigar aficionado store -- they have the biggest selection of fine cigars on the island (even Cubans!!!) and the prices are very reasonable! Very nice place!!
There's a info booth in front of the plaza where you can get coupons for discounts (we all love to save money, right?). Not all the places accept credit cards, so bring some cash (usually people will take US dollars, but you will save even more money if you pay in Mexican pesos) -- there is an ATM just in front of the plaza.
