This is a very interesting dining experience for those who want to get away from the buffets available on the main strip. It is a six course Morrocan dinner. The experience began when a waiter brought water brought to our table so that we could wash our hands. The meal consisted of shrimp scampi; harira soup with lentil, rice lemon, and spices; salad that was hummus garbanzo bean dip accompanied by assorted fresh vegetables; beef shish kabob; cornish hen served with couscous and steamed vegetables; and a dessert served with mint tea. The food was excellent. My favorites were the shrimp and the salad. We were a bit disappointed that beef was served instead of lamb, but the beef was tasty and tender.
There is belly dancing, and the diners are invited to get up and dance with the expert. Some of the diners and the rest of us who were watching seemed to really get a charge out of that. The only disadvantage is that Marrakech is away from the strip, which means that there is the added cost of a taxi if one doesn't have a car.
