The Red Eye is a yummy all-night cafe conveniently located downtown. They have a wide variety of food, with everything from burgers to breakfast served all day. They serve all kinds of drinks, from soda to wine.
The "waffle" fries are especially tasty, spicy but not overly so. They also have an interesting little number called an egg burger, which is a burger with a fried egg on it, surprisingly very tasty.
They don't mind people sitting around for long periods of time either, and they even have a large number of board games you can play while you're there. There is also wireless Internet you can use (with your own laptop of course).
Most of the week, the atmosphere is pretty laid-back. Friday and Saturday nights, though, are crazy, especially after the bars let out. Those nights, you'll get seated pretty fast, but service can be very slow. If you're willing to wait, though, it is worth it.
