4 day weekend in Vegas!

Caesars Palace is an amazing hotel and casino. We had a room in the Palace Tower which apparently is a bit more luxurious than the other tower. The room had a marble bathroom, larger shower, Jacuzzi tub and wonderful cosmetic products. The beds were large and comfortable. The view from the window was amazing. The room was tastefully decorated.

To access the tower at night, you have to show a security guard proof that you are staying there. This is a nice security gesture. The casino downstairs is all that a casino can be - noise, lights, people, glitter! There is a shopping mall integrated into the complex with some very nice high end boutiques as well as brand name shops. There is an amazing spa in the hotel complex which has a pool, sauna, steam room as well as spa services. Hotel guest can pay for day passes.

We went to the Celine Dion show which is in the hotel / casino complex. It is a very worthwhile show to see while in Las Vegas. The theatre (called the Coliseum) has two boutiques, one for Celine Dion memorabilia and one for Elton John memorabilia. Elton John performs in the theatre on the days that Celine Dion is off.

Don't forget to get a Caesars Palace loyalty card while there so you can get points for the hotel stay and for playing at the casino. These points can be exchanged at a special counter in the lobby area. You can get merchandise for the points or meals at the hotel restaurants. I exchanged my points for a Caesars Palace gym bag.

Bellagio Buffet

Restaurant

Buffet at Bellagio

The Buffet at the Bellagio is amazing! Plan your visit ahead of time since there is often a line-up at mean times.
Buffets are popular at most Las Vegas Casinos; however the Bellagio Buffet is outstanding. It is several notches above all the others. The food choice is enormous. For those that have difficulty in making up their mid, this is a bad place to be!

The food is top quality for a buffet. You can tell by looking at he food that freshness and cleanliness are a top priority.
The meats, cheeses, pastas, vegetables, Mexican food, seafood, desserts and vegetable / salads bars are abundant. There is a wide variety of international foods.

The buffet is a little more expensive than at other hotels in Las Vegas, however it is well worth the experience. It is one price for adults and one price for children. You pay on entry. You walk around and choose your own food from the various food bars. Waiters and waitresses take your order for drinks. A tip is appreciated for the table waiting staff. Busboys continually remove items no longer needed from the table. Highly recommended!
