As cliche as it may sound, spring break in cancun is unlike any other trip I have experienced in my life. Actually, this is my third trip to Cancun within four years, and each new trip brings me unique experiences.

While I have created so many memories in my trips to Cancun, images that will live with me forever are the white beaches with soft sand and the bluest water imaginable. The pictures you see in magazines do not do Cancun justice so take it upon yourself to witness the beauty up close and personal. Equally memorable are the friendly faces and enthusiasm of the people and the food! The food in Cancun is amazing, by the time you leave Cancun you'll surely have tasted some of the best Mexican food around! A trip to Cancun satisfies people with a variety of interests, whether you love the outdoors, enjoy nightlife, or culture, Cancun definitely caters to all your interests!

Quick Tips:

Cancun offers a variety of tours to allow you to enjoy different aspects of the city and Mexico but its up to you to take advantage of them. The Jungle tour is an inexpensive way to enjoy the water of Cancun. For a nominal price, you enjoy plenty of hours with waverunners and snorkeling in the ocean! Visit La Isla Mujeres for a fun filled relaxing day at a quaint little beach and enjoy a day of kayaking, bicyle riding, and horseback riding, and everything is included! Visit Xcaret for a fun filled day at a beautiful park allowing you to enjoy the scenery and snorkel and shows at night! For an authentic experience of Cancun, visit Chicenitiza, the Mayan temples located two hours outside of Mexico, which is a must see for any lover of culture! Definitely take advantage of the nightlife in Cancun if you have the opportunities: the strip offers a variety of clubs including Daddy O's, Coco Bongo, La Boom, Maaxo's, PatOBrien's, Senor Frogs and many more!

Best Way To Get Around:

Transportation is really easy in Cancun because everything caters to the tourist. The main areas are located along the strip with buses running at all hours so no need for walking if it's not your thing. There are plenty of cabs also if you really don't want to take the buses. But definitely take advantage of the ease of walking along the strip when possible. It really gives you the opportunity to appreciate all that Cancun has to offer!

Senor Frogs

Senor Frogs is a fun experience if you enjoy being entertained while you eat. Expect to dance and enjoy the atmosphere while you wait cause there's no feeling of waiting for your food! Expect to have fun and enjoy the spirit of Cancun!

To truly say you've experienced the nightlife of Cancun is to say you've visited Daddy O's. As soon as you walk in you feel the powerful beat of electronic music pushing you to dance and if you really can't dance then you can always enjoy the atmosphere of the club which is sophisticated but casual and all about fun!

A must see in Cancun.

Coco Bongo

Attraction

Coco bongo is a definitely must go to nightclub in Cancun if partying is your type of fun. What makes Coco Bongo so much fun is the different types of music you hear and experience within one night, let alone one hour. I got to enjoy a great mix of oldies, classic songs from the seventies and eighties, rap, and alternative music in one place and one night!

It's a great place to be in cause there are so many levels to the club with everyone looking up to the center high stage where usually they have some celebrity lookalike performing to a popular song. Needless to say, the experiences were definitely worth the money!

Jungle Tour

The list of activities in Cancun is not short and the hard part can be deciding what to actually partake in as well as gettting your money's worth. For people who love to spend time in a boat or waverunning and feel like the services along side the beach cost way too much for the amount of time you spend using the equipment, then the jungle tour is for you. What's great is that you get one hour of time on your own to use a waverunner to get to the snorkeling destination, and then you get another hour snorkeling and enjoying the water of Cancun. You're definitely getting alot more than you pay for with the jungle tour so definitely take advantage of the opportunity!

La Isla Shopping Mall

La Isla is a great place to go when you want to take a break from the beaches and opt for shopping. La Isla is an outdoor mall with a variety of shops, ranging from designer stores, duty-free shops, to your shops offering touristy items that complete each trip. It has a great atmosphere and the decor is rather appealing and allows you to appreciate another aspect of Cancun. What's also great is that it offers a variety of places to eat to complement a day of shopping, some authentic Mexican restaurants and other commercial restaurants that we have in the United States. It's a little bit away from the main strip but it still is worth going for the great deals you'll find in the stores.
