Quote: My family and I recently visited the Northwest Florida Zoo and loved it! It's quaint and quiet, the kids loved feeding the giraffes and the safari train ride. Children's admission was only $8.25. Kids 2 and under are free. This time of year, the weather is outstanding. I would highly recommend this little Zoo. It's about 10 minutes away from our vacation home on Navarre Beach. Accessible and affordable!

Quote: We did not visit the zoo on this trip, as my Florida brother said it was too costly. He believed the price of admission was $24 each, and his small family of 3 usually spent around $80 for a visit. While the zoo has many interesting features (see website), the heat of Panhandle summers makes the animals pretty lethargic. The Florida brother recommends this activity for a spring, fall or winter visit. He also hopes they will lower their prices soon to make it affordable for the locals to visit more often.
