Quote: The hotel is located on the outskirts of Cologne. With car the hotel is very easy to reach and well sign posted. We had of course used the navigation system but even without it’s easy enough find with the directions of the hotel website. The location of the hotel is quiet good but not that easy for when you want to visit the city center. There is a bus and metro close to the hotel but still takes around 10 to 20 minutes to get into the center. The hotel has a large parking lot. There you can park for a fee of € 6 per day the vehicle.

When you enter the hotel, you run straight to the reception, reminiscent in shape of a ship's hull. The reception desk is staffed around the clock and the staff help you with any problems. On the left is a seated area to the right of the reception there is the restaurant. The lobby looks inviting and modern enough. The staff was really polite and there than happy to help.

The room was great and was modern and bright. The room was big enough to easily move around and to put your luggage on the floor. There is a two person bed, a mini bar, television, desk and closet space for your clothes. The room had a double bed which had a very soft mattress and extra pillows were in the closet. The hotel room had a small balcony with two chairs which were ideal to sit outside in the evening.

In terms of cleanliness, there was not much to complain about, but the carpet had some signs of wear.

The bathroom was equipped with toilet, sink with large vanity and bathtub with integrated shower. The toilet was located here in a little extra space. There have been some signs of wear, such as small cracks in the tiles or on the valves. The towels were lying ready. In terms of cleanliness, there was nothing to complain about.

You could have breakfast between 6:30 to 11:00 in the restaurant. The selection was very large and good. You could choose between sweet as marmalade and muesli, savories such as sausage, cheese and fish, such as warm egg dishes, meatballs and bacon as well as Fresh fruit and vegetables.
The service staff were quick and friendly.

The hotel has a gym, its use is included in most packages, otherwise it costs 12 € per day. The studio is equipped with numerous devices.

It’s a wonderful comfortable hotel for when staying in cologne. I don’t think the location is superb but it’s great for when coming with car. The free parking space is a big plus.
