The CN Tower, with its spectacular views of the city, ranks as one of the most common attractions in Toronto. Both the old and new City Hall are popular among sightseers, and their proximity to Nathan Phillips Square make them a great place for tours. If you are looking for some fresh air, the Toronto Islands are common sites for nature-lovers; cars are not allowed on these pedestrian islands. High Park is another great place to hike, bike, or picnic.

Performing arts are another attraction that vacationers flock to. Operas, musicals, ballets, and concerts all contribute to the incredible nightlife of Toronto. The Toronto Fringe Festival celebrates the theater of the city, and attracts large crowds every year.

Sporting events are notorious reasons for travelers to visit Toronto.
