Quote: Bolongo Bay is a decent snorkeling area and very nice beach. The beach is lined with palm trees, so finding a spot in either the sun or shade is not a problem. Located immediately on the beach is Iggy's Beach Bar, making this a lively night spot as well. The snorkeling at Bolongo is highlighted by the shipwreck just offshore that is very easily accessible. Also, on most days, you'll find a small spotted ray that makes its home in these waters. Bolongo Bay stays shallow for several hundred feet offshore, making this an ideal snorkeling spot for families. Though the snorkeling is better in some places on the island, Bolongo is a nice area to spend a day on the beach and in the water.
