This is the best restaurant on STX. We brought 20+ people with us to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. There's nowhere else we would have dreamt of dining. Their Chef (Chef Dread) is amazing and creative. The outdoor ambiance is unequaled as it is their service. They have retractable sails above the patio dining area that are withdrawn during starry nights and pulled out during the occasional sprinkle. Candles are lit in alcove sconces covering a stucco wall. So romantic!

The staff at Savant will do anything within their powers to please you! They corked our champagne, served wedding cake that was created by a local baker and made the whole night one to remember forever!

The appetizers were fabulous, service impeccable, and wait staff nearly invisible. The price is more than reasonable for the quality of the dishes and service. I HIGHLY recommend this hidden jewel!

See you next year, till then we have great memories of our many visits to your establishment.
Ciao,

I loved this restaurant. It's small, charming, and totally unassuming, not at all fancy or formal. We sat inside because the back-garden courtyard was being used for a private party, but I took a peek, and it looked lovely.

The food is a fusion of Caribbean and Asian, with all sorts of interesting flavor combos to choose from. There is lots of fresh fish and seafood on the menu. It was hard to decide!

I ended up with the fresh tuna tartare appetizer, which was divine, and the mixed seafood Thai curry, which was really flavorful, spicy, and delicious. Topped off by a huge wine list to choose from, Savant was a perfect choice for dinner.

The best meal we had in St. Croix was a Savant's. It's a newer restaurant, and already very popular. They serve a mixture of Caribbean, Thai, and Mexican cuisine -- all of which are done beautifully. Food on the island is pretty expensive, but Savant's was one of our cheapest dinners, despite its quality. Service was laidback but responsive, and the food was amazing. (We had the Red Thai Curry and the "Famous" Fajitas.) Get the rum cake (made by a local woman for Savant's) for dessert; there is nothing better on all of St. Croix.
