We had a party of nine that ate there and we forgot the rule: don't order water at a restaurant near the Gulf because it will taste terrible. Some of our party had tea, which was bearable. All the rest of the drinks, including soda, tasted fishy. So tea is your best bet. The food was good, but it was hard to look past not having something decent to drink. The atmosphere was great for families and if you like to drink beer, it’s a great place to eat. It may have been just a bad day for drinks there? Who knows. They did have good lunch specials during the week.

This place was very nice. It also had an area you could sit outside almost on the water. They served a little bit of everything. They were also very family friendly.

Located at the foot of Navarre bridge on the mainland side, not on the island.

This restaurant does not take reservations, but you can call ahead to see if there is a long wait or to mention you will have a large party.

Excellent Saturday/Sunday morning Country Breakfast Bar made to order omelets and waffles plus western and southern breakfast food selections. Sunday brunch includes everything from the breakfast bar plus soup/salad bar, hand carved roast beef and smoked ham, steamed shrimp and desserts. I recommend this particular meal because it allows you to stroll to the Visitor Information Center and the Nature Walk before or after you eat.

From the menu I’d stick with the steaks and the smokehouse items. The seafood items were not special, but their meats were better.

Our young children enjoyed coming here because of the decorations and the walk outside through the misters. The Nature Walk of Navarre starts just outside the door. This is a very family friendly place.
