A unique blend of Pacific Rim (mainly Chinese) cuisine mixed with French flavor makes this place not only the most interesting food in Vegas, but also one of my favorites. The staff is friendly and is great at recommending items from their menu; however, you really can’t go wrong with anything that you get. The drinks run around $10 and their drink lists include cocktails that I have never heard of, but are fabulous. I had a Dragonfly (nigor saki, strol raspberry, chambordi, and pineapple juice) and Karma (strol raspberry, peach schnapps, lime juice, and cranberry juice). They were amazing.
The food was perfect. They offer a wide variety of sushi (nigiri and maki) including California rolls, rainbow rolls, toro, kani, and dragon rolls. Their appetizers include many types of salads, dumplings, and other pacific rim inspired treats. The main courses are the hardest to choose from. However, instead of just picking one main course I suggest getting several and eating family style. I had the orange chicken (It was okay, my least favorite of the meal, but I don’t like dark meat), mahi mahi in Thai lime (I don’t like cooked fish, I only eat sushi, but I’ll make an exception for this. It was fantastic), and grilled filet mignon in ginger sauce (mouth watering). Entrées start at $16+.
The dessert is something that can’t be missed. My table shared a liquid center chocolate cake and the Stone-henge. I cannot put into words the taste. It was close to a religious experience. The restaurant is decorated in an Asian/Buddhist theme. The atmosphere is very laid back. Buddha’s can be found all over the restaurant staying true to the places name. Overall this is an amazing place that shouldn’t be missed.
