An acquaintance raved about shure(sp?) headphones saying that when used on the airplanes they did a good job of blocking out noise. An adaptor (to lower sound) had to be purchased because when used to watch movie the lowest volume setting was too loud.
I wondered if they could be used with walkman type gear as well.
My understanding is that they are expensive, but worth it.
Does anyone have experience/knowledge about these kinds of headphones?
