Hi all,
I know there was a post recently about avoiding Kenyan safari but it is something that me and my boyfriend would absolutley love to to. Has anyone had any good experiences or can recommend anything?

I did a 3-day safari at Kapama Game Reserve (http://www.kapama.co.za/) in South Africa several years ago. It remains my favorite vacation memory.

I just did a fantastic E. African safari, encompassing parks in Kenya and Tanzania. While the safari was great, I would not recommend my tour company (MICS Safaris) as we had a lot of issues with them, including overextended driving times between parks that took away from the game viewing time we were supposed to have . . . and they messed up on some logistics on the ground that ended up costing us money too.
I have written three journals here on IgoUgo regarding the trip. If you're interested, you should be able to find them by clicking on my name here and then going to my profile page where all of my journals can be accessed.
I would highly recommend a safari!

Hi Sue, I would also highly recommend a Kenyan Safari especially between the months of July and September. Watching the wilderbeest migration is the most amazing experience ever. Was there last year and i used a company called Panorama Car Hire and Tours. They are very professional and have lots of information am even thinking of another one sometime next year.
I did a 14 day safari that ensured that i toured the preety much the whole of Kenya from the Maasai Mara through to Amboseli and then to the Coast. Very addictive tour.
All the best with your decision.
