On this trip, I took the entire family, and it was definitely a blessing to be staying in a non-gambling resort. The Carriage House was quiet, and you had the chance to relax after a busy day at noisy casinos and crowded walkways and enjoy some quality time.
The staff there is very willing to please. This was the first resort that checked me in hours earlier than normal check-in time. That meant a lot to us, since we had a three-hour time difference and were traveling with small children.
Our one-bedroom was spacious and had two pull-out sofa beds. The kitchen was equipped with just the essentials, and the older-model microwave took some getting used to. However, we had everything we needed. At night, we experienced a decent view of the Strip, although construction nearby is blocking some of the views.
The Carriage House provides significant information to you months before your arrival, which was also a plus for me. You can communicate through email, and the response is fast. This helped me to plan my stay ahead of time. Upon arrival, you are showered with even more details in a welcome package.
Transportation is provided from and to the airport.
There is a restaurant on the top floor of the resort, but my family and I didn't try it. Many restaurants deliver, and we took advantage of that. The Carriage House gives you many menus in your package as well.
There is a nice pool and Jacuzzi. The tennis court is located on top of a parking garage. There is a basketball goal on the tennis court, but if you over-throw the ball, it could easily end up over the fence, and the game is over.
If I am traveling with my family, I will definitely stay here again.
