Best Things About the Resort:
It would have to be the resort in the middle of the Strip and the free shuttle to/from casinos/hotels and the grocery store. I liked the fact that it had a fitness center.
Resort Experience:
The outside of the resort looks like the picture on the Internet, but the rooms are another story. They do not look at all like they are advertised. When we entered the main center, to the left was the concierge service to take care of activities, tickets for shows, and the free shuttle and other means of transportation. Next to that was the door leading to the fitness room. To the right was a room that holds activities and offers free coffee and tea. In the middle of the hallway were tables and couches. The staff where you check in is very helpful and friendly. You are offered a gift from your hostess for staying at the resort. The resort offers free shuttle to/from the grocery store and the casino hotels. If you have a child, you must bring your car seat, or the resort can make arrangements to rent one. There is a food and souvenir shop within the main center.
Our one-bedroom unit was across the street of the main center. As we entered our unit, we were surprised that it did not look like the pictures we had seen. I really think they should update their website. It wasn't luxurious, nor was it awful. It was just okay. The industrial carpet looked a little worn out. There were two green leather sofas, and one pulled out to a bed. There was a glass dining table that seated four and the kitchen. I was surprised there was no dishwasher, nor a washer and dryer. I liked the bedroom. It was cozy, and the bed was so comfortable to sleep in. There was a TV in the room, as well as in the living room. The bathroom looked like it needed some renovation, but nothing to really complain about. They offered complimentary shampoo and soap and dishwasher soap.
Housekeeping comes at least once a week for those who stay more than six days; otherwise, you pay when you request for service. There was actually a swimming pool at our unit, which was nice, but it was too bad it wasn't the season to use it. The unit was simply furnished—outdated but reasonable. It wasn't that bad at all. I was a little scared from all the negative feedback I read on the Internet, but I was satisfied with our unit.
