Piedras Suites Best of IgoUgo

Hotel | "A perfect accomodation if travelling with Kids"

Quote:
I spent a few weeks searching for accommodations that would be appropriate in Buenos Aires if travelling with kids. I was looking for something more spacious and more comfortable than a regular hotel room. I was trying to combine security with comfort in some kind of modern style accommodation that was not too far away from the city. We were interested in having a breakfast plan included, full equipped kitchen, AC and heat, not too worried about a gym or swimming pool as we had planned each day with outdoor activities and any other amenity would definitely be a plus! After various emails coming back and forth to different locations we finally stumbled upon the Piedras Suites. These ap...Read More

For the past couple of years our number one dinning or food delivery option has been SUSHI! Our first try had been in Sydney, Australia. Sushi places were every where ... if you were looking for a fast meal option, the SUSHI trains would be the perfect selection for many! We were not very fond of the idea of eating neither raw fish nor seaweed, but we were surprised by how successful our first experience had been!Since then, every different place and destination we visit and every time we have the chance, we opt for ordering SUSHI.This time our destination was Buenos Aires! We were staying at the Piedras Suites, and at the lobby we had been handed some broachers, one of t...Read More

I cannot seem to recall the amount of times I have visited Buenos Aires, and I am almost sure that I have never travelled there with my kids.Travelling with kids when they’re young has resulted quite stressful for us.Just by thinking about the loads of things you have to pack away, will take away the peaceful and relaxing sense of the word "vacation".But this time was different … 3 days in Buenos Aires had been organized for them! Every little detail had been taken into consideration in order for the "vacation" getaway to be as pleasant and peaceful as possible. From a wide list of activities thought up for children our number one selection was the TEMAIKEN natural park.Te...Read More

Parque de la Costa Best of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Not too appropriate for little ones, still nice to visit"

What perfect weather conditions! Our weekend in Buenos Aires was turning out to be better than expected!Nice, sunny, warm days … something we were definitely not expecting as it was September and the cold, rainy winter was just leaving. Our first day activity (Temaiken Bioparque) had been absolutely enjoyable. We were now ready for our second day activity, the well known "Parque De La Costa"The Parque de la Costa is the largest fun park in Buenos Aires, located in the suburb El Tigre and has been built just along the riverside. It usually opens Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am until 7pm.We had been told that the drive from our hotel to the park would take us ...Read More

I have travelled to Buenos Aires various times and have visited the Abasto Shopping Center but this was my first time i had planned on going there with the kids. I am not too fond of combining one of my greatest pleasures (shopping) with 2 young toddlers running around, in and through every single store, but i believe this is THE place if you dare to give it a try!The Abasto shopping Center is HUGE! You will be able to spend a whole day investigating the various brands and stores located on all 4 levels. Getting there is very easy! I would highly recommend that the most fastest and cheapest way is by taking the underground train. You get of at the Carlos Gardel station and you will f...Read More
