Poor overall Value

Quote: Stayed here last year - May 2010 - and for the money spent the hotel just didn't meet my expectations. This would be a fine deal for sixty dollars a night. And I certainly would not pay more than $70. The bathrooms are comparable to what you would... Read the full Hotel Provincial review

Hotel is not bad for the money

Quote: Courtyards are beautiful! Our room doors had major gaps letting in the cold air. This was not our original destination and we ususally stay in a little more upscale hotels. While we did have some issues, overall for the money it was sufficient.

Charm, grace just far enough from Bourbon Street

Quote: What a delight! Lovely room, quiet courtyard with places to enjoy morning coffee and croissants. Helpful staff, and best of all, just a few blocks from anywhere you might want to visit in the Latin Quarter. The other courtyard had a crystalline... Read the full Hotel Provincial review

Quote: This was our second stay and we would stay again. Front desk staff is friendly and accommodating. Very nice room--comfortable bed, plenty of room. Sink area is relatively small. Be sure to ask where the room is located. Ours was up a flight if... Read the full Hotel Provincial review

Located in the heart of the French Quarter

Quote: Lovely courtyard and friendly service. Variable room decor based on location of your room in one of the hotel's buildings. Rooms need some updating, but overall was fair accomodations for a very good price.

Hotel was close but not too close to French quarter action

Quote: We had a room on the first floor, right next to the pool. The folks staying there this week were all apparently early risers as we had the misfortune of listening to them have breakfast, read the paper, smoke and chat just outside our door - after... Read the full Hotel Provincial review

What a gem!

Quote: We requested a room in building #5 only because we heard it was the most haunted building. Well, the spirits didn't make an appearance but we were so happy to have the room we did! Our room had a shared verandah that overlooked Decatur street. There... Read the full Hotel Provincial review

The hotel and staff were great

Quote: We loved the hotel and staff. It was everything we had hoped for close to Bourbon St. and we felt very safe inside the premises and knew our vehicle was safe as it was behind locked gates during the night. The area the hotel is in is not the best as... Read the full Hotel Provincial review
