I stayed in the hotel for only one night, but feel that it was a very good stay, especially for the reasonable price. The location was very convenient and the staff was extremely helpful. I arrived early in the morning, far earlier than check-in, and (not surprisingly) my room was not yet available. The staff allowed me to store my luggage until my room was ready. When I returned at 11am, my room was already available. Considering the hotel had been completely full the night before, I thought the staff did a great job of turning over the room.
As for the room itself, it was immaculately clean and a good size. The view was nothing amazing, but then again, I didn't come to Sydney to sit in a hotel room and look out the window. I didn't try the internet so I cannot comment on that. Overall, the hotel covered the most important things -- good staff, clean room, good location, reasonable rates.
Internet Availability Dissapointing

I was very dissapointed in the NON AVAILABILITY of the internet connection in the room. I felt like I should have had an internet connection in the room. Had to go to the lobby and pay expensive $ per 20 minutes for internet access and that just is not the same as having your own work laptop in your room. Everyone needs access to the internet these days, especially, MOST ESPECIALLY TRAVELERS! Hotel told me I could get wireless internet in a room if I upgraded to a room costing $ more per night PLUS internet charges. That royally ticked me off. So be very cautious about understanding what you can get in the room, the internet is an essential need for a traveling person. If they can fix this frustration then it will be a good value.

There were hairs on my pure white bed sheet which made me think that they haven't cleaned / given me new sheets when I checked in just made my bed. Top cover looks iffy so I took that off and the two decorative pillows have stains on them. The wool like cover just beneath the top cover is OLD and dingy and probably dirty as well. It needs to be thrown away and replaced. I went out and bought a cheap comforter so I wouldn't have to actually touch it. There's a weird smell too in the room.
Staff was pleasant enough. Hallways are nice. Need a card to get to your floor which is nice. My room is attached to another room via a door which I don't like.
The room has a microwave, frig, dishes, coffee pot, table and chairs. Not sure I'd use them unless I washed them really well but it's nice that one can bring food back and heat it.
I paid 50/60 but they charge beginning at 80. You can find other better hotels for that amount or slightly more. It's not horrible but it's not great either.
Compared to it's sister property Wynard - it's deplorable. I'll not stay here again. But for now since I'm here I guess I'm stuck. If I'd known I would have forked up the extra twenty and stayed at the Vibe or Holiday Inn.
Would never stay again!

I was very unhappy with the service at this hotel. The accommodation was fine enough as I wasn't expecting too much because of the cost of the room. However, the bedding was dirty and covered with hair. In addition I was charged for a phone call that I was told would cost me 80 cents. I had actually called the front desk, provided them with the number I was planning on calling and they then confirmed that it would only cost . When I went to check out I was told of the outrageous price and that I must have been re-directed to another number and that's why I was charged. They would not do a thing for me. They told me the number that was dialed, which I didn't call and they still made me pay for it. They had already taken a deposit from me when I checked in so there was nothing I could do other than pay the bill that I did not create. I was brushed off as just another customer and was very dissapointed as to how they handled the situation.

We booked thru Expedia and got the flight from LAX to SYD and 6 nights at this hotel for $1000 (US) What a deal! We added extra nights for only $88(AU)
The hotel was recently refurbished and the staff very accommodating. The room was ample with twin bed, table and chairs and a mini kitchen. We loved the electric kettle and assortment of tea/coffee in the morning. We did get discount vouchers for $12(AU) for the hot/cold buffet breakfast for 2 days...pretty good bargain. The internet was $2 for 20 minutes but ample time for me. I liked the location from Museum Station and/or bus stops nearer. The free CBD shuttle was great to great around on too.
