Quote: Mystere is the longtime resident show at Treasure Island. We saw this show 2 years ago and have found this to be quit an exciting show. The show doesn't have a storyline like "Ka." However, it more than makes up by supplying you with one extraordinary acrobatic after another. Soon, you are so engrossed in the incredible choreographies that you just crave more. I won't give the show away, but there were segments that had people stacked 4 stories high, people doing back flips over each other, and performers bounding back and forth between bamboo poles, to just name a few. It is a very worthy show.

Quote: This is a great show. If you get the chance, you've got to go to at least one of the Circ shows. They are worth every penny. The acts are amazing, and you won't believe your eyes. Plus, it's great for the whole family.

Quote: This was the first Cirque du Soleil show that I have ever seen, and now I cannot wait to see another one. Oh my God!!! This was great. I was amazed from start to finish. I have never seen anything like this, not even close to this. I cannot believe the human body can even do things like that. What an amazing group of talented people. The music is live as well, composed on a stage-like area above the main stage. The comedy, acrobatics, music, and dancing were just amazing.

TIP: Sit in the middle to the back of the theatre. Don't sit in the front. If you sit in the front, you will miss some of the show that is going on above the audience. Go and see this no matter what the cost. It is worth it. I was with a friend when I saw it, and I cannot wait to take my husband to see it. Words cannot describe it.

Quote: My wife made me go to this show, but now I'm glad she did. We made sure to buy tickets beforehand. Before the show starts, they have a man running around messing with people. He pulls people out of their seats, makes fun of people, etc. Once the show starts, prepared to be amazed. The acrobatics were very neat, and there was enough humor mixed in to keep you smiling. (Unless you like popcorn poured all over you, try to keep out of the last row of the middle section.)

Quote: For several weeks before our trip to Vegas, we tried to book decent seats for Mystere, but the website kept showing us seats in the very back row. However, we tried again 3 days before our trip and ended up getting two seats dead-center front row! Apparently, a portion of the seats are only put on sale a few days before every show. I would recommend the second row over the first row, however, as there is a safety bar running along the first row that may inhibit the view of shorter patrons.

We greatly enjoyed Mystere, particularly the changes that were possible with the moving stage. We had seen La Nouba in Orlando a few months earlier. Out of the two shows, I prefered La Nouba, as it is much more athletic, whereas Mystere seems to place emphasis on artistry over athleticism. From the front row, it was clear that this is an older show, as some of the costumes and props were quite dirty and worn. The entertainment value was not inhibited by this, though. The show runs about 1.5 hours nonstop. The standard tumbling and trapeze acts were part of the show but were much more innovative and daring than an average circus. The show had two very funny characters interlaced in and out of the plot as well. Be careful if you sit in the front row! You may be participating more than you'd like!
