Alaska proved to be the perfect playground for longtime IgoUgo member Wildcat Dianne: big enough to explore by car, train, and boat; exciting enough to accommodate a jam-packed list of activities; and quirky enough for the plucky traveler to get into some now-expected mischief. Plus, she managed to do most of it in inexpensive (but spectacular) fashion.
Dianne just completed her sixth journal of Alaska reviews and stories--see the entire list here--and, like the others, it’s filled with great tips for visiting the Last Frontier. We especially love this traveler’s knack for locating lesser-known, affordable gems like those on her lists of free things to do in Anchorage and cheap places to pig out.
We can’t wait to see if Wildcat Dianne has more Alaska reviews up her sleeve (or should we say in the armpit?). If so, you can bet they’ll involve more ways to enjoy Alaska’s scenery on a reasonable budget--a beautiful thing, indeed.
