Visiting Milan
Whether you go to Milan to fête fashion, attend an opera at La Scala, ogle at the scale of the Duomo, or watch AC Milan play at San Siro, la dolce vita awaits. (Literally—frequent gelato stops are a must.) More sweet stops include the Santa Maria delle Grazie for Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II for shopping under its soaring glass dome. Even the best photos can’t do Milan’s architecture justice.
For cravings that are more of the main-dish variety (veal Milanese, anyone?), you’ll find that it’s difficult to go wrong at any of the city’s restaurants. So find a flight to Milan, browse hotels, and prepare for a religious experience. Whether it’s at a famous cathedral or over famed tortellini? Now that’s up to you.
