Quote: Just returned from a great week of scuba diving with Manta Divers. We dove with them on our first trip to Cancun as well - 6 yrs ago and this trip was just as great. The staff was fantastic. We dove with Miguel all week. Gabe took a great video which we will watch over and over again I'm sure. We dove most days in Cancun due to the fab underwater life in the area. Schools of fish which is so great to see. The wreck was probably the best one we've dove. We also dove with Life in the Cenote. Always a treat and yes, Life was our guide 6 yrs ago!!! Thanks John and Mimi and (rondi)!!! Always a pleasure diving with you!
Quote: When we booked we asked which dive sites they offered, we told them we had already been to Gran Pin and one other place and that we didn’t want to do any wreck dives. They said they would accommodate something for us, and that they could do all the dives available. The owner-managers were very friendly, and even offered a discount considering we had booked for three days. After paying, it felt like they were upset to have to deal with us. Also, the price we were charged was higher than a package advertised in their fliers that had exactly the same number of dives. For the first day, they asked us to be there at 8am, they didn’t show up till 8:30, and we didn’t leave untll 9. Their boat “was broke” so they had to borrow one from a different... Read More

Quote: I did my open-water certification the year before in Cancun and was ready to do my advanced certification. The Adventures in Diving program offers both the Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications. If you complete any three adventure dives, you can earn your PADI Adventure Diver certification. If you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive, and three Adventure Dives (for a total of five), you can earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification. We dove at several local reefs in the 50- to 70-foot range. The flora and fish life was very abundant. We also dove a few wrecks, the C55 and the C58. I was unable to get down to the C55 due to strong currents and had a long wait on the surface... Read More

Quote: It did not look like it was going to be a lot of fun, as the ocean was pretty choppy. But the 1,5m swells and my subsequent lurching stomach were soon appeased by the warm blue ocean. While the dive was not spectacular by "big fish" standards, I found the beds of coral and reefs fascinating. We did manage to see some menacing looking barracuda, puffer fish, scorpion fish and a HUGE eel! The DM was wonderfully competent and friendly. Of course there was still the boat ride back to the pier....
