Quote: Cafe Sambal is the three-course-meal restaurant at the Mandarin. I have had dinner there on prior occasions (for dinner it serves Asian fare and sushi), but not breakfast. I was curious to see how they would perform. The staff was as consistent as the staff at the front desk and spa. The service was great! My breakfast consisted of fluffy scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, and toast. It was a delicious experience with an incredible view of the bay and Miami skyline.

Quote: Cafe Sambal is the more "casual" restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental. It offers, in my opinion, some of the best sushi in Miami. The spicy tuna roll is a must-try. The entrées there vary from beef to more traditional bowls with chicken and noodles. I would recommend the duck and noodle bowl. I am aware some people may think duck is too heavy, but the combination of spices, vegetables, and noodles had everyone at the table eating off my plate.
