Near-Perfect Premium Texas Accommodation and Hospitality

  • 5 out of 5 stars by ChileP from Winnipeg, Manitoba

Quote: We recently conducted a sales mission to Dallas, Texas for the 19 Corporate Incentive Lodges found throughout the Canadian Province of Manitoba. We sourced a number of various venues for our reception which was to host guests from Meeting Planners International - Dallas Chapter; as well as several major tour booking agencies who focus on higher end lodge and hospitality bookings. We thought, what a perfect match - Premium Texas Accommodations to help our Premium Manitoba Lodges announce their group charters, meetings and incentive trips. The result? The Hotel ZaZa was a perfect selection; as it neared the quality, consistency and reliability of our Manitoba Premium Lodges and yet had a very real "Uptown Dallas" feel to the entire... Read More

The ZaZa Experince

Quote: First Expression always say everything ... Very boutique and Cute. Check in was a little slow and if you request a upgrade room be prepare to pay. The Dragon - Fly nice but pricey and the room was nice and warm. Pool area is for the pretty people and wanna-be seen folks.

Probably would have been nice but...

Quote: After making reservations for one of their concept rooms, 2 weeks before going, I arrived only to find that they had given my room to someone else. We arrived at 8PM but had been assured by the gentleman that I made the reservation with that my credit card number would hold the room until midnight. Furthermore they were full for the night but I could come back the next day and stay if I liked. I would avoid the hotel like the plague and will in the future.

Worst Stay ever!

Quote: My husband and I stayed when we flew in from overseas for a wedding. It was the middle of June and he was not allowed to wear his $500 Italian leather sandals into the bar because they weren't ""distinguished"" enough! Come on! We had thousands of dollars worth of cash we wanted to spend having a good time in the comfort of our own hotel, but was turned away because of a pair of sandals! Why didn't they make all the tranies leave the pool earlier in the day? Lots of older - shouldn't be wearing a bikini or showing off my leather skin people trying to capture their youth were always at the pool - it was embarassing for them and I am sure none of them were actually staying at the hotel! It left no room for us to even get a seat.... Read More

Quote: We spent 4 nites last Thanksgiving and loved it. We loved our room, it was very stylish and comfy and the large balcony was a delite. The weather was perfect so we enjoyed eating there for breakfast. Room service was very good for breakfast. Staff was very helpful and friendly too. Booking was no problem at all.

The worst Hotel In Dallas, Stay Away!

Quote: Stay away from this dump. The worst service, you will be better off in Motel 6. Run away, anything but zaza.\n\nWe prepaid for the hotel via Travelocity. When we arrived, they said they we have one smoking room and said we need to go to another cheap hotel at 12 am. The hotel they sent was horrible. They said they will refund our room - they never did, we spend 10 hours fighting them with no result. \n\nThey still charge for food we did not eat. The worst ever. Don't go there unless you want really bad experience. \n\nHorrible experience, worst by far.

Lost reservation, bad service, and double billed!

Quote: We prepaid for the hotel via Travelocity. When we arrived, they said they had no record of our reservation. Since we needed to attend a conference at that hotel, and produced our paid receipt, they found us a room. Nice decor doesn't make up for leaking pipes and poor service. On top of that, they billed our credit card for the stay. Three weeks later, and we're still fighting them to remove the extra charge. online travel website customer service has been no help at all, either. What a nightmare

Zaza - horribly overrated

Quote: Hotel prides itself on a boutique experience. Customer service was poor, room needed maintenance (plumbing issues), and housekeeping was inconsistent. For that kind of money, I expect much, much better

Quote: My husband and I spent the first two nights of our honeymoon here and absolutely loved it! Our room was wonderful and the service was great. The staff sent complimentary champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to our room once we arrived. Tip...Ask for the ""quiet"" side of the hotel.
