Quote: We have been to vegas 3 times stayed on the strip first time in a large hotel but found we was just a number it was that big .We have stayed at the hotel Mardi Gras twice and booking for 2011 its a motel not the MGM its a small motel the rooms are ok clean the staff are great its about 20 min: walk from strip they have a bus every 30 min: to ballys near strip from hotel free but u r expected to give the driver a tip.the meals are ok in hotel the casino is small only slot machines about 40 or so, there is a small pool but my wife and i love the place.

Quote: I stayed at this dump when I was in town for the Consumer Electronics show. It is in walking distance to the convention center and I thought it would be convienient. Well had I known what I was in for I probably would have booked a room at the Hilton instead which is also in walking distance. The room was bad, toilet over flowed, tub wouldnt drain, etc. If that wasnt bad enough the buffet was stocked with food that looked like it came out of the dumpsters from the other hotels. The customer service at the front desk is non-existant. They wouldnt even print out an airline boarding pass for their guests. I'm trying to think of something positive about my stay there.... Quote: I stayed in a room that had a broken TV. The front desk said they knew about it but they didn't get around to fixing it. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. The water flow in the shower was very low. It took a lot longer to shower and the water never got that hot. This hotel is located 3 1/2 city blocks from the strip and about 1/2 mile from the monorail. Things are further away than the website says. I would definitely not recommend this hotel and would not stay again.
Quote: We stayed at this hotel on March 14th and were treated terribly by the front desk staff. They refused to give us a copy of our registration. They cut us off mid-sentence and didn't even smile. The front desk clerk was abrubt, demanding and very unkind. We called for extra towels and were hung up four times before somebody would bring us more towels. We complained twice about a party and fighting in the next room and nothing was done. I would not stay there ever again. I was extremely disappointed because I always thought Best Western was pretty safe bet as far as hotel chains go. The security chain was broken on the door and we couldn't get the window to lock with out extreme effort and help from a passerby.

I wrote a letter to the corporation about the Hotel and was assured that someone from the Hotel would be calling me to discuss what a nightmare we endured. Of course, no one ever did. Quote: The layout of the room was what I liked best. Intended to be a short trade show trip but decided to ask a girlfirend along to make a "friends weekend ". The beds are separated by a Spanish Style partition, so when she wanted to watch TV to fall asleep., I didn't have to see it or hear it. Super close to the Sands Convention Center. Food in restaurant of good quality and also affordable. Ate breakfast there every day. Staff very nice and helpful. Not the Taj Mahal,, but who stays in their room in Vegas anyway? Beds are nice & firm, but pillows were little and lumpy. If you drive in ,, bring your own. Coffee maker and cold fridge in room,, nice.. Elevator SMALL and no air flow. If you are claustrophobic, you will freak.
