Quote: If you have business or pleasure to attend to in SF, this is a great place to stay. Attached to Embarcadero Center, the hotel is in walking distance of tons of shops and restuarants and public transportation (cable cars, trolleys, MUNI, BART). The Ferry Building is a skip away, which has amazing food and a Saturday farmer's market to die for. The views of the Bay Bridge are stunning, especially at night when everything is lit up. The hotel itself is lovely. The room was well appointed, there was a Juliet Balcony, that enabled me to get a nice breeze. Concierge and porters were very friendly. Overall, a great experience.
Quote: This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. The location is fantastic. Within walking distance from many great sights and BART and Muni are easily accessible. Nice rooms and great service. Will be my first choice when coming to San Francisco.
Quote: I was so impressed with this property. I stay in San Francisco frequently (at least 1/2 a dozen times a year), but this was my first experience at this hotel. Not only was the staff friendly, but the atrium and room were both gorgeous. I was on the 15th floor facing both Market Street and the Bay Bridge. At night, the moon was full and hanging over the bridge. It was completely breathtaking. I also liked that the windows open nearly across the width of the room. I called to ask for more towels and within two minutes, had a knock on the door from the housekeeping attendant. I also recommend upgrading and visiting the Regency Club on Floor 17. Fantastic view of the bay and delicious snacks and beverages. Beautiful property with a... Read More
Quote: The Hyatt Regency used to be an outstanding property with first-class amenities. She's waning now in need of an update and makeover. Our room was appointed well but suffered peeling wallpaper and dangling ceiling tile. The 32 inch flat screen had signal interference. Tub and WC fixtures are what one would find in a Motel 6. The Hyatt used to house Hugo's, a wonderful French restaurant. We didn't opt for the fare at the Eclipse. Fortunately, the Fog City Diner is just a few blocks away. The Burger Bistro just across the street has great breakfast fare. Friday night cabs were scarce at the Hyatt and when we finally got one we asked the driver why. He indicated that most cabs avoid going for fares at this hotel due to a dispute over airport... Read More
Quote: The hotel was lovely and everything was just as we like it, with the possible exception of the height of the bed, I am short and had a hard time getting in it. But otherwise it was great.
Quote: We chose to stay at this hotel for many reasons, and in the end, it was a great choice. The hotel is in a great location in the Embarcadero Center on the waterfront, across from the Ferry Building. If you stay here, your right at the cross roads for all the Metro transportation; street cars that will take you up Market Ave or down the Pier, and the famous San Francisco Cable Cars. The California Ave / Market St. Cable Car starts right out the front door! How great is that!It is also well located for the shopping crowd. There is a shopping mall in the Embarcadero Center right next to the hotel, and it's only a few blocks from the shopping Nirvana of Union Square. There are a number of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the... Read More

Quote: This stay was about as good as it gets in S.F. Enjoy the low prices while they last.
Quote: This hotel was clean, friendly, and so convenient to the public transportation, which we needed to get to our son's home. We loved being so close to the port--the Saturday Farmer's Market is great, and we enjoyed the proximity of the shopping and the vendors. Staff was very helpful with any questions we had. Would stay again.
Quote: Hyatt Regency San Francisco is taking the elite club scene to the next level…. literally. While staying at the property, I discovered that the hotel’s former revolving restaurant Equinox was recently turned into the prestigious Regency Club Floor and Lounge. The top two floors of the hotel now cater to those looking for a chic and exclusive San Francisco experience. The Regency Club Lounge is divided into four hemispheres: dining, business, entertainment and relaxation and is a safe haven for those who want to unwind and rejuvenate in a private, club-like setting. My favorite space is the entertainment hemisphere, with large plasma TVs; iPod listening stations; lifestyle and business magazines; and Cranium board games. I also enjoyed... Read More
