Admit it or not, we know you make them too. Some are of the become-a-better-person variety: stop smoking, lose 5 pounds, save money. Some are of the more impressionistic variety: make better decisions, be more open. But no one has more fun making New Year’s resolutions than a traveler. Last week, The New York Times unveiled the kind of whole-new-year, whole-new-bank-of-vacation-days list that travel enthusiasts salivate over: The 53 Places to Go in 2008. We plan to spend the rest of the year mapping out our resolutions.
