Think of us as your enablers. By launching better writing tools and a boatload of new hotel reviews—and making the sky the limit on the number of photos you can attach to your own reviews—we just made it ridiculously easy for you to spend hours planning and then reliving your summer travels. Trust us: it’s for your own good.
If you’re wondering where to stay on your trip, you’ll find that IgoUgo now offers even more opinions from real travelers because we’ve added hotel reviews from Travelocity.com visitors. These reviews are clearly labeled so you can tell the difference between an IgoUgo member’s review and a Travelocity member’s review; if you’d like to organize hotel reviews so that IgoUgo reviews appear first, simply sort hotel listings in your destination by most useful.
Then, when you return from your adventure, writing and editing travel journals and one-off reviews will be easier than ever before with a new, uniform interface that we think you’ll enjoy. And because we've eliminated the timer in the review-writing interface, you can take as long as you need to craft the perfect review. Thanks to this enhancement, we've also bid our confusing "drafts" functionality adieu. Don't worry: your existing drafts will remain in your account and will appear live on the site the next time you edit them and hit "Publish."
And finally, we’re excited to announce that the old limit of four photos per review has been scrapped in favor of, well, as many photos as you can possibly shoot and upload. Even better, all of these photos will be smartly displayed in our photo slider.
We hope you enjoy these new additions as we continue to work on our next batch of improvements!
