As you can probably guess, photos of beaches are nothing special in the online travel world. We at IgoUgo have seen enough pictures of Cancun, Ibiza and Miami to find our way around without assistance from a map. But that doesn't mean we can't appreciate a standout. On a recent trip to Thailand, our very own iamtravellover took a pair of photos that showed us how it's done. Our Photos of the Week are a license to kick back.
Off the coast of Railay Beach, a great domed hill emerges from a leafy island. When iamtravelllover sat down on the sand, she captured the island as beachgoers played in its waters. Swimming offshore never looked so relaxing.

On the beaches of Ao PhraNang, the angle of the cliff tends to keep the ground in the shade. Strolling on the beach around sunset, our photographer managed to capture the rocks in a moment of sunlight. Now all she needs is a grill and a roaring bonfire.
