A boat ride under Niagara Falls, a trip up the CN Tower, a nice downtown hotel, a restaurant with a great ambiance: MilwVon sure knows how to take a business trip!
The IgoUgo Hall of Famer is sharing her four days of Learning and Adventure in Toronto, and with all the high-flying and enjoyable reviews, you’d never know there was a conference involved.
The highlight of the trip, she says, was an afternoon Niagara Falls tour; despite having visited the natural wonder several times in the past, MilwVon was “in awe” of the “roar of the water and the mist in the air” on the falls’ Canadian side.
We’re in awe of how much our traveler packed into her half-day tour. It included a stop at a wine-making college (tastes of chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon included); an optional cable-car ride or helicopter tour (which MilwVon skipped, but hey, she’s been there, done that); a “journey behind the falls” deep “into the bowels of the walls of Niagara;” the Maid of the Mist boat ride; a buffet dinner; and a VIP pass to the lighting tower to serve as a “Niagara Falls Illuminator” for the night.
So you can see why MilwVon ends her excellent story with, “WHEW!” Experiencing Niagara Falls takes one long day...especially if you have business to attend to the next morning.
