IgoUgo members have made Holland’s Keukenhof a much visited site over the years.
And with spring come the holidays that are unique to the Netherlands: Queen’s Day, War Remembrance Day and Liberation Day. With so much happening, it is appropriate to plan a visit to the Keukenhof. There’s still time to catch the various flower fireworks, be it the brilliant display of tulips, or the summer flower show or, as Keukenhof describes it, “The Greatest Lily Show on Earth!”
MelissaRuth’s recent review called it “the most beautiful spring garden in the world… and the most visually stunning place that I have ever visited.”
Not only is it a treat for the eyes, but member Carmen said “You can smell the blooms (and there are more than just tulips) before you even get off the bus.”
