Traveler of the Week on an East African Safari

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. . . Explore. Dream. Discover."
- Mark Twain

MilwVon’s many travels show that she takes Mark Twain’s words to heart. This is especially apparent in her recent journey to Kenya and Tanzania and the resulting photos. From her journals:

“I worked with a Kenyan safari tour operator to put together this 12 day/11 night safari that included a majority of time in Kenya… Seven nights in five lodges and four parks . . . Kenya has a lot to offer those looking for a safari adventure. If you are considering a safari in Kenya, you owe it to yourself to consider adding a few days in Tanzania too! We spent four days in three parks and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.”

Milwvon writes that this mom and foal in Maasai Mara "stand in this "linked" position
so as to see in both directions for protection against predators."
