IgoUgo asks, “Where does one of Forbes Top 5 billionaires holiday with his family?” Perhaps, it’s some remote Island in the middle of the ocean. (Well, kind of.) Try Sydney, Australia. Bill Gates and family are spending a month-long vacation there, enjoying all that an Aussie summer has to offer. The summer season runs from December 1 through the end of February and is filled with festivals, events and holidays.
On deck is the Boxing Day Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race followed by the spectacular New Year’s Eve fireworks a week later, both events filling Sydney Harbour with spectators. In January, you can find the Sydney Shakespeare Festival at Bicentennial Park, and the three-week long Sydney Festival will once again celebrate arts and culture with free and ticketed performances. On Australia Day, January 26, the morning Ferrython (The Great Ferry Race) kicks off a full day of activities. Of course, if all you want to do is laze on the beach or surf or swim, Sydney has that too. And, according to Rough Guides, “with a setting that only Rio de Janeiro can rival”, try your hand at finding the best place for a photo op, just like our IgoUgo members always do.

You forgot to mention you will need your "Black-platinum soaked-gold trimmed Amex card" to be able to afford it. The place is ridiculously over-priced and the service is appalling. Lucky they have a harbour, otherwise, forget it
