The eponymous bridge is an infamous site for all travelers and locals alike. Traversing the bridge provides fantastic views of both Manhattan and Brooklyn and

The BBG provides a sanctuary in the city that never sleeps. If you are lucky enough to visit in the spring months, the Gardens provide a stunning display of Cherry Blossoms and holds its own Cherry Blossom festival to celebrate the trees. “On any given day, the Brooklyn Botanical Garden is a great place to visit to see wide open fields, gather some fresh air and see some great waterfront (man made ponds) views” states

Brighton Beach

A popular escape for many people living in Manhattan, Brighton Beach is accessible by many modes of public transportation. Similar to Coney Island but without the swarms of an amusement park, the beach provides acres of beachfront land including volleyball courts and picnic areas. The waters are also suitable for fishing, making Brighton a multipurpose outdoor haven.

Brooklyn Brewery

Famous amongst all the Williamsburg hipsters, the Brooklyn Brewery not only quenches the thirst of the Brooklyn (and New York in general) masses, but provides a wildly popular tour. The brewery is also occasionally open as a pub, and patrons must use Brew Tokens to pay for drinks.
Mojogoes reports, “The Brewery is a relatively young brewhouse (just over a decade in its current location) and creates some of America's best reviewed beers.”

This tiny restaurant may be easy to miss; tucked away under the shadows of the Williamsburg Bridge. The food, however, is something of legend, especially among fried chicken aficionados in Brooklyn. Serving up spot-on southern comfort food (including lots, and lots of baked good) at either the lunch counter or the gravel and fence ‘patio’, Pies is a must when in Brooklyn.
