The Mandalay Bay and a friend of mine recommend the Burger Bar, however, I would not. The burger I ordered was not fresh (a whopper at BK would have tasted better). They brought out my friends burger incorrectly, and just left it on the table. Fortunately, a manager realized this and was kind enough to bring out a fresh one for him. The atmosphere and concept of the restaurant is great. They just need to work on customer service.I may retry it on my return to Las Vegas. I do like to give places a second chance... STAY TUNED!

This was the most pleasant surprise on our trip. We were staying at Mandalay Bay, spending the day at the beach and pool. Since we were dressed in shorts, nice cover-ups, and sandals, we wanted to eat someplace casual. Although we were a bit too casual, it still was not out of place at the Burger Bar. All I can say is that the burgers there were the best we ever tasted, and we will go there whenever we visit Vegas. I never had a bacon cheeseburger taste like fine dining before! We had very competent service.

While this concept is unique, the restaurant itself was lacking something. The service was awful. We ate here after a long day of drinking in the casinos, so all we wanted to drink at dinner was water. The waitress rolled her eyes when we ordered water. Our food took what seemed like forever, and there was nothing special about it. After we got our food, we never saw our server again. Service was friendly to start with, but once seated, they seemed to forget about us and not really care or bother. The food, however, certainly makes up for this, as the menu was great. You choose what type of beef you want, be it Black Angus ($9) or prime sirloin ($8), or even kobo. You then choose which type of bun you would prefer, such as onion, plain, or sesame.
