Its collection includes more than 3500 of the artist’s works, including many from his early years. Nearby is the Museu de la Xocolata, or the Museum of Chocolate. It features sculptures made of chocolate, displays on the history of cacao products, a small theater, and of course, chocolate to buy and eat. The Picasso Museum is the most visited of Barcelona’s museums, housed in 5 medieval palaces in La Ribera.
